Vertical / horizontal / hanging plate-making camera
It is an optical machine that shoots originals into negatives for plate making. It is composed of chassis (or hanger), mirror box, original frame and light source. The main purpose of the device has been replaced by an electronic color separation machine.
Electronic color separation machine
It is designed according to the principle of electronic color separation, using photoelectric scanning and electronic computing technology to replace the camera for image plate making. This machine has been completely replaced by two new technologies: the first is laser phototypesetting technology; the second is CTP direct plate-making technology.
Flat Scanner
It is mainly composed of four parts: optical system, photoelectric conversion system (charge coupled device CCD), electronic system and mechanical system. Advantages: fast scanning speed and easy to use; strong adaptability to originals and low price. Disadvantages are: low dynamic range of density; poor performance of the dark-tone part of the image; the effect of scanning the transmission original is not ideal; the resolution and clarity are not as good as the roller scanner.
Drum Scanner
It is developed by the electronic color separation machine, and its core technology is the photomultiplier tube PMT and analog-to-digital (A / D) converter, including the scanning drum, scanning light source, and scanning head system. Its advantages are: the use of photomultiplier tube (PMT) as the optical signal receiver, which has high sensitivity to light, so the density response range is large, the dark tone level of the image is good, and the resolution is high. The disadvantage is that it is not as convenient to use as a flat scanner, the scanning speed is relatively slow, and the price is relatively high.
Laser imagesetter
It is a device that outputs high-precision, high-resolution images and text on film or photo paper. It will scan the text, images and graphics of the layout produced by the prepress system on the photosensitive film accurately and meticulously, then rinse the film out, and print it on the printing machine after making a plate. Imagesetters are generally divided into three types: winch type, outer drum type and inner drum type (also the most expensive). Although they are widely used, they will soon be replaced by CTP plate-making technology.
Monochrome circular flattened offset printing proofing machine
Mainly used to verify the quality of offset printing plate, faithfully reflecting the real situation of the pattern and tone of the manuscript. In addition to proofing for offset printing, it can also be used for small batch printing. It is widely used in instrument signs, glass, wood, rubber and plastic Precise printing. Some applications have been replaced by digital proofers.
Film processor
Also known as film processor refers to equipment for processing printing film (also known as film), which is often sold and used in conjunction with laser imagesetters; commonly used in medicine for processing medical films such as X-rays, CT and MPI; the principle of both Similarly, the structure is slightly different. With the popularity of CTP technology, its application in the printing field will be greatly reduced.
Copy machine
It is mainly used for the reproduction of printed film (film), which is divided into bright room and dark room. With the popularization and application of CTP, such devices are already in their old age.
Duplexer
In fact, it is a simple copying machine, which is rarely seen on the market.
Resin plate making machine
Mainly used for the production of solid or liquid resin plates. Commonly used in self-adhesive printing mechanism plate and stamp plate making on the printing machine, etc. Plate making process: exposure → washing → drying.
Flexible plate making machine
Mainly used for making flexible version (also called aniline version). The plate-making principle is similar to that of the resin plate-making machine. The plate-making process is: back exposure → main exposure → washing → drying → debonding. Accompanying it is a liquid medicine recovery machine. This machine is often selected by carton factory, plastic packaging factory, stickers, label printing factory, etc.
Plate baking machine
Plate baking machine can be used for letterpress plate making. The process of letterpress plate-making is: plate preparation → plate printing → corrosion → full-page printing → proofing. The plate is prepared to choose a suitable copper or zinc plate, cut to the required size, and remove oil stains, oxide films, scars, water stains, sand holes, etc. Removal method can use light, soft, no knots or cracks of charcoal, grinding. The polished surface of the board also produces very fine streaks, which can increase the adsorption of the photosensitive liquid. The ground metal plate is placed in a plate-making machine with a chromium gel photosensitive solution, which can be used for printing after the photosensitive solution is dried. Before the PS version was popularized, the plate-making machine could also coat the PS version in very few batches for users’ own use, and had basically withdrawn from the market.
Exposure machine
A contact exposure imaging device mainly used to make printing plates (PS plates, screen plates, etc.), using pressure to closely fit the original plate and the photosensitive plate, so that the image on the original plate can be accurately printed on the photosensitive through photochemical reaction Version. Plate-making machine can be divided into two types: single-sided plate-making machine and flip-type double-sided plate-making machine (also called double-back). Some of its markets have been replaced by CTP, but for some time to come, it will remain one of the necessary plate-making equipment for small and medium-sized printing companies.
CTP system
Not only does it mean to install a CTP plate-making machine, but also includes many additional devices and equipment that enable the digital workflow to run. It is one of the fastest growing and most influential high-tech in the prepress field. CTP technology includes plate materials, corresponding output devices and corresponding work processes. With the development of computer technology, laser technology, electronic technology, mechanical processing technology and new materials, as well as the further reduction of the cost of CTP plate materials, CTP technology has entered a mature application period, and it will definitely replace traditional pre-press platemaking technology in the future .
Continuous drying machine
Equipment that can perform continuous and repeated contact exposure on the printing plate. It is mainly used for the printing of small specifications and high-precision printed materials such as stamps and trademarks, and its domestic sales are extremely small.
Developer
Refers to a machine that can automatically develop, wash, glue (optional) and dry the plate material (PS version or CTP version). The developing machine is divided into two types: spray type (now basically eliminated) and dip tank type, which is mainly used with the plate-making machine and CTP plate-making machine.
Baking machine
Baking machine is an auxiliary equipment for pre-coated photosensitive lithographic plate-making, which can improve the abrasion resistance, solvent resistance and corrosion resistance of the pre-coated photosensitive lithographic image and text, and greatly improve the printing durability of the printing plate (Note: general energy Increase by 2-5 times), greatly reducing the amount of printing plates and the time of changing plates, especially suitable for ultra-long prints, and is also one of the necessary plate-making equipment for the iron canning factory.
Retainer
After the used plate material (PS version or CTP version) is automatically corrected, washed, washed, glued, dried and stored, it is easy to use when reprinting, saving the cost and time of remaking.
hole puncher
It is divided into two types: manual and automatic. It is generally used for punching positioning of PS or CTP versions of multi-color printing machines. The photoelectric positioning PS version of the pneumatic punching machine can greatly reduce the time of printing paper and printing (also called registration), improve production efficiency, and reduce the labor intensity of operators. It is an indispensable auxiliary equipment for commercial printing of multi-color machines.
